Julie is a consultant, coach and facilitator with a global portfolio. Specialising in Culture & Leadership, she with people and organisations in transition to support and develop insights and learning. She founded Fuchsia Blue in 2005 & the Facilitation Shindig – a Learning Space for Practitioners – in 2017.
Julie works to be frank and fair with her clients, getting underneath surface symptoms to address root-cause. Her approach is to blend Head (data & evidence) with Heart (emotion, values, identity) and Hands (practical actions, delivery and outputs).
Recent clients include Walgreens Boots Alliance (Redesign of the approach and content for the Retail Field Trainer Network), Manchester Metropolitan University (Delivery of Cultural and Leadership Framework to support the Digital Transformation Agenda; design & Delivery of Transformational Leadership Development Programme), Mazda Europe (Design and Delivery of Coaching Framework for European MD Network), Greater Manchester Combined Authority (Identifying key areas of Cultural Focus & establishing a cultural framework for newly forming Authority under newly appointed Metropolitan Mayor), Scottish Ballet (Strategic Alignment between Board, Trustees and Output areas from Leadership Team).
Julie’s work is underpinned by academic study, having attained an MSc in Organisational Change from Ashridge Business School, but she firmly sees herself as a practitioner, staying relevant and up to date in her thinking through a wide network of connections, clients and colleagues.
